Saturday

Very windy as Peter and Antony left Inverness and we weren't sure our ferry from Gill's Bay would be sailing. We wouldn't know until 10am. Then Phil phoned at 9:40 to say the sailing had been cancelled and we should try to get onto the midday sailing from Scrabster. So while Antony tried to book the ferry I got a move on and we reached the ferry port at 11:15. It was lucky we did because it was the last sailing of the day. Nearly all of us were on the same ferry so we posed for the group photo.

Antony couldn't get his suit DF to stay on so he wisely canned his dive. Peter dropped in after everyone else and joined up with Chris and Phil for an enjoyable dive. We exited the wreck one at a time and so we got spread out a bit.

Seals. Quite unexpected at this depth but wonderful to see.

Got a really good look at the main armament and both Peter and Briony left without lifting the silt.

SMS Brummer

More seals according to Briony although I only caught a brief glimpse of one.
