HUGSAC does not currently offer a "beginners" training course as there are many commercial entities out there who can do this more cost effectively than most clubs.

 

However, we do offer ongoing training, diver development for qualified divers and an exciting schedule of dive trips throughout the year. We feel that this is where we, with the many years of advanced diver training and trip planning, can offer an unrivalled experience and where we should focus our attentions.

We can provide a large range of BSAC training courses, as we are an amateur organisation these are all not-for-profit and priced to encourage our members development.  If you are already qualified through a different agency - no problem.  BSAC publish a "Statement of Alternative Training" table which shows where your agency's grades fit into the BSAC view of the world.  You can just sign up to a training course, offered by HUGSAC, and we'll take you on to the next level of your diving experience - we don't discriminate between agencies.
